This picture was taken at the holiday in Blavand in JO45BN in May 1998, which is the most western point of Denmark. I took part there in the VHF/UHF/SHF- Contest, but without any result.

There was a very nice aurora at this contest, which brought first cw-aurora-qso with OH1XT!

This picture shows a very coloured ;-)=) view on a overnight-place in Scotland during my holiday in August 1998. I was active there with a 6element DL6WU Yagi for 144MHz , FT-290RII-TRX + Amplifier.

This perhaps was the best qth I found in Scotland. It's the Mull of Galloway in IO74OP, which is located in the region Dumfries and Galloway. Out from there you have free view to GD, GI, EI, GM, GW.

Unfortunately the activity was very low at this time.
